The Real Truth About the 2016 Australia Day Fireworks

There has been a very small number of people claim Mr Rodney F Young didn’t hold the fireworks display by Explore Mission Beach on Australia Day in 2016 to start the new business.

MBN is releasing all the evidence that Mr Young had in fact done the event from start to finish to set the record right once and for all. All the paperwork is in Mr Young’s name you may note.

One person making the false claims Mr Young didn’t do the Australia Day fireworks in 2016 to start the new business Explore Mission Beach was Philip John Westaway from formally known as Wet Hair Salon.

Around the 10th of January 2016 Mr Young started to hire a fireworks company and was seeking funds from other businesses in the area to crowd fund the costs. In two weeks the funds were raised and all the permits approved.

Below is the legal agreement to the fireworks and the invoice to Mr Rodney F Young.

Below is a email on the 25th of January 2016 showing payments of $3,248 with $300 yet to be paid by Castaways that the fireworks company was happy to get Castaways money after the event on the 26th of January 2016

Please note, a agreement was reached with Mark Jennings that the $200 from Wet Hair Salon was to be void and returned and Mackay Bananas was to take Wet Hair Salon’s place as a contributor as $200 was gifted to the crowd funding project to make the fireworks happen by Mackay Bananas.

On the 16th of January 2016 after declining to help put funds towards the crowd funding project, Philip John Westaway turned to Facebook basically claiming Mr Young was a scammer to the business community.

At about the same time as Philip John Westaway was defaming Mr Young on social media, Mr Young was emailing Art Print Frames as Roger gladly provided his services at no cost to design and print the official promotion of the event by Explore Mission Beach.

As you can tell Mr Young had done the event, however the false claims by a very small group of people setting up hate and defamation pages on social media and keep claiming Mr Young didn’t do the fireworks.
